These boots are so stylish and they just look so amazing in person! The leather is very sturdy and of good quality. That being said, I'm not sure if they will ever be broken in. I'm still trying to wear them as much as I can for the past month. The top of the boots are a much wider than I'd like them to be as I have very skinny ankles/calves and because of hard leather material, there is only so much I can do to "tighten" the opening. But I think I can fix this issue by wearing thicker socks. The fit for your soles is exact to the fit info provided. I would recommend you to measure your feet according to the fit chart given instead of going for your usual shoe size. The boots themselves are very lightweight, however the chains are surprisingly heavy. Each pair of chains is 250g and there's 2 pairs here. Thankfully, these are easily removable so I only kept one chain and a pair of plain bondage on each boot. I love how the little D-rings on these boots so I can customize them with my own accessories if I wanted to!

As I mention in the title, I have 2 pairs of TUK shoes from about 5 years ago. One of which, I wear atleast 2x a week. While those do have some wear, it’s very impressive in the market of platform shoes to last so long with being worn HUNDREDS of times. And they still have easily a few more years left! From experience, not many other brands are this durable and how lightweight TUK shoes are. Not only are my shoes all not heavy like other brands which can make walking more difficult, the insides are very comfortable. I have wide but short feet so I size up but could have gone without because TUK shoes are wide foot friendly in my experience. These new boots still need to be broken in a bit since they are a different material than my others, but are still just as wonderful. The chains are a bit noisy, but that is to be expected but just a heads up if you are in a situation needing to be “stealthy” that you may want to remove the chains since they are detachable. Also since it is detachable; it is nice to have the option for customization! The shoes are worth the price tag once again for durability and quality. I wear my boots almost everyday. I'm a Bass Guitarist, these boots are a great addition to a Gene Simmons type outfit.

I was amazed at how nice and non-restrictive the padding of the toe area was on boots of this type. Very comfortable!
